Spin Screw Jam
Spin Screw Jam
Unscrew everything. Pull bolts out of layered wooden boards, park them in the limited holes below and free every panel without jamming your slots.
Spin Screw Jam is the unscrew-the-nut format at its most organised. Metal plates and wooden panels are bolted to a board; tap a bolt to pull it out and send it flying into one of the small collection holes at the bottom of the screen. A plate loses its last bolt and falls away, revealing what was hidden under it. Run out of free holes and the jam is real — that is the whole game.
Where The Difficulty Lives
- Six holes, dozens of bolts. Slot discipline is everything; wasted holes are unrecoverable.
- Layer order matters. The top plate hides bolts you cannot see yet, so removing it early is usually correct.
- Colour and shape cues reward planning. Grouping same-colour bolts keeps your options readable.
Practical Playbook
- Free the top plate first — new bolts you cannot yet see are the main cause of jams.
- Never park a bolt in a hole unless it unblocks something.
- Keep one hole empty as breathing room at all times.
🎮 How to Play
Basic Controls
- Tap a screw or bolt to unscrew it from the wooden board.
- The screw flies to one of the slot trays at the bottom (limited capacity).
- When a tray fills with three matching screws they are cleared.
- Boards are layered — remove top-layer screws to access lower boards.
- Clear all screws from the board to complete the level.
Strategy & Advanced Tips
- Prioritise screws that unlock lower boards. Removing a screw that pins a board in place opens up many new options — do those first.
- Match tray colours deliberately. Only send screws to a tray if you can complete three-of-a-kind within two moves; otherwise you clog slots.
- Count your free tray slots at all times. You have 7 slots total; running out means game over. Plan which screws to pull based on current tray state.
- Don't pull every visible screw at once. Pulling a screw you cannot match immediately wastes a slot and may block a more urgent one.
- Look for colour clusters on the board. If four blue screws are visible, pull them in sequence to clear the tray efficiently.
Playing on Mobile vs Desktop
The game is designed portrait-first for phones. On desktop it centres in a phone-shaped frame. Tap/click targets are generous enough for fingers.
Common Mistakes
- Pulling screws without a matching plan, filling all 7 slots and getting stuck.
- Ignoring which screws hold boards in place and pulling decorative ones first.
- Panicking when the tray is nearly full — sometimes one match clears enough to continue.

😊🥳
Nice wooden art style. Undo button could be a size bigger on phones, that is my only gripe.
Level 18 is where it stops being casual. Two plates share one bolt and you have to plan the drop.
Taking the bolts out in the right order so the plates drop free feels uncannily close to a real teardown 🔩
