Hunter: Evolve Uprising
Bounce, shoot and evolve. Guide a piercing ball of fire through squad formations, upgrade between waves and keep the uprising from reaching your line.
Hunter: Evolve Uprising is a wave shooter built around a bouncing projectile and an upgrade economy. You aim, release, and your shot ricochets through packed enemy formations — the more bodies it passes, the more value per shot. Between waves you spend earnings on troops, gear and evolution tiers that visibly change what your shot does.
The Loop
Aim → pierce → earn → evolve → face a tougher wave. That four-step cycle is deliberately tight, and the satisfying part is that evolution is a choice rather than a gift: offence now means weaker defence at the next boss.
Playing Well
- Wait for the pack to cluster. A shot into five lined-up enemies beats five shots into one.
- Invest in pierce before damage. Damage without pierce only hits the front row.
- Keep one escape upgrade. Late waves spawn fast flankers, and a pure-glass build gets overrun.
- Bosses punish greed. Save your strongest evolution for the wave you can actually control.
Troop deployment, gear evolution and boss waves stack enough variety that runs stay distinct long into the session.
🎮 How to Play
Basic Controls
- Drag to aim your ball of energy, release to fire.
- Your ball bounces between enemies, dealing damage on each contact.
- Collect XP orbs dropped by defeated enemies to level up mid-wave.
- Each level-up offers three upgrade choices (damage, speed, pierce, split, etc.).
- Survive enemy waves and defeat the boss to advance.
Strategy & Advanced Tips
- Prioritise split and pierce early. More contacts per throw means more damage output than raw power alone.
- Bank shots off walls. Bouncing your ball off the arena wall can hit enemies behind cover that a direct shot cannot reach.
- Positioning matters more than aim. Move to create angles where your ball naturally bounces through the densest enemy clusters.
- Take defensive upgrades around wave 5. Once enemy count spikes, a single health or shield upgrade saves your run more than +10% damage.
- Let your ball do the work. You only fire once per cooldown — spend the rest of the time dodging and repositioning, not mashing the fire button.
Playing on Mobile vs Desktop
On mobile, drag to aim and release to fire — the virtual joystick feels natural for positioning. On desktop, use WASD to move and mouse to aim. Both render the same arena size.
Common Mistakes
- Standing still while firing — you are a sitting duck for enemy projectiles.
- Taking all offensive upgrades and dying on wave 8 with no survivability.
- Wasting shots into empty space instead of aiming at clustered groups.

Runs clean on a four year old phone, which I honestly did not expect from a browser title.
It gets loud around wave twelve, but the upgrade choices keep it from being a plain click fest 🔫
Evolving mid wave is the good part. Putting points into speed early pays off far more than raw damage.
