Free Games With No Catch: How This Site Actually Works
No sign-up, no payment, no trial period. The games are genuinely free. Here is where the money comes from and what we ask in return.
Read article →Five categories, each with a distinct feel. Here is how we sort games into them, why some titles could fit two buckets, and how to find exactly what you are in the mood for.
Every game on this site belongs to exactly one category. That is a deliberate simplification — most titles could argue their way into two or three buckets — but a single home per game keeps navigation predictable.
Puzzle is the largest group. Sorting, matching, untangling, pathfinding — anything where the core loop is a logic challenge with no time pressure. If you can put the device down, think for thirty seconds, and come back, it is a puzzle.
Action covers games where physical execution matters as much as decision-making. You are aiming, dodging, or timing inputs under pressure. Tank Era sits here because setting the correct arc under turn pressure is a skill test, not a pure logic test.
Arcade is the reflex-and-score family. Short rounds, escalating speed, one mistake ends the run. Smash Blocks and Shift Dash Reac live here because the challenge is execution under time pressure, not problem-solving.
Casual is for games that ask almost nothing of you. Satisfying Stack and Block Puzzle: Save Girl are pick-up-and-play — the rules fit in one sentence, and there is no fail state that sends you back to a menu.
Shooter is a subset of action that we broke out because the control scheme and session rhythm differ enough to matter. Ace Strike and Zombie Down are both bullet-dodging games where you hold a position and manage fire rate. If you searched for "shooter" on another site, you would expect these.
A category with one game is a dead link. We add a category only when at least two published games fit naturally. As the library grows, expect new buckets — but not before there is something to browse.
The homepage shows category pills. Clicking one takes you to a dedicated landing page listing every game in that group. You can also use the navigation bar at the top of the page, which shows the main categories at all times.
